This trip takes you through the major highlights of Ladakh from Leh to Nubra – Turtuk & Pangong Lake.

In this trip you’ll be hitting altitudes of over 5,000 meters twice and crossing over some of the  highest passes in the world! The route covers all of the highlights of the ancient Buddhist kingdom of Ladakh, as well as the three most beautiful Himalayan lakes in the border region to Tibet – all at altitudes of more than 4,500 meters

Day 1 | Reach Leh
Assistance on arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Day free for leisure and to acclimatize.
Overnight stay at Leh Hotel

Day 2 | In Leh 
Leh sightseeing with guide, visit War Memorail, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Shanti Stupa. Evening free to visit Leh Market.
Overnight at Leh Hotel.

Day 3 | Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La ( 150 km/ 5 Hours)
Get an early breakfast and get briefed about the day’s trip to Nubra Valley. Today you will be driving on one of the worlds highest civilian motorable pass, Khardung La, continue with drive and reach the start of Nu- bra Valley. Shyok river flows through here and you  can opt for rafting in river Shyok   ( Subjected to the activity being operational ). Continue with drive to Hunder where we stay for the Night and check in at hotel. Later visit Sand dunes at Hunder.

Day 4 | Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra 
Sightseeing with Local Guide, visit Diskit Monastery, later drive to Turtuk (80 Kms / 2 Hrs per way ) the last Indian village in Nunbra valley. After sightseeing return back to Hunder for overnight stay.
Overnight in Nubra.

Day 5 | Drive to Pangong Lake  ( 160 Kms / 6 Hrs )
After breakfast, we drive to Pangong Lake which is a salt water lake at  4225 Meters in the higher reached of Ladakh, the lake changes color every few hours and the best time for photography is in Morning & evening when the lake is at its best . The road to Pangong is full of contrasts crossing through narrow valleys, river sides and wide open plains. Reach Pangong in mid day and check into your camps / guest house. Explore the natural beauty of the lake.

Day 6  | Pangong Lake to Leh  ( 150 Kms / 4 Hrs )
After breakfast, drive to Leh via Changla Pass (17688 Feet ). Also Visit Thiksey monastery en-route.  Arrive in Leh mid day.  Evening free for leisure.
Overnight at Leh Hotel.

Day 7 | Departure 
Morning check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board departure flight.
