Starting in the vibrant city of Marrakech, this adventure takes you across the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, through the legendary Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, across the remote landscapes of Lac Iriki and Erg Chegaga, and deep into the golden dunes of Erg Ouzina and Erg Chebbi.

Drive on trails inspired by the Dakar Rally, discover authentic Berber villages and hidden oases, experience nights beneath the desert stars in luxury camps, and explore the spectacular Todra and Dades Gorges before returning to Marrakech.

Day 1: Arrive  ➝ Marrakech
Fly from India to Marrakech Airport. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we will head to the 4×4 expedition’s first hotel, where the group will gather for the long-awaited meeting. In the evening, we will enjoy a get- together dinner, offering a chance to get to know the other expedition participants better. It will be a relaxed, informal evening—perfect for building connections within the group and getting into the
spirit of the adventure. Get ready for a unique experience that marks the start of our journey! (Dinner included)

Day 2: Marrakech – City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a guided tour to discover the charms of Marrakech, accompanied by a local guide. Our first stop will be the beautiful Menara Gardens, a true green oasis with views of the Atlas Mountains. Next, we will visit the majestic Bahia Palace—a jewel of Moroccan architecture—and admire the grandeur of the Koutoubia Mosque, featuring the minaret that serves as a symbol of the city.

Along the way, we will stop at typical Moroccan shops, where you can immerse yourself in the richness of local craftsmanship, explore the aromas and flavour’s of spices, admire traditional textiles, and discover unique items from Berber culture. We will then proceed to the legendary Jemaa El Fna Square, the city’s pulsating heart, where the vibrant atmosphere transports us back in time: musicians, acrobats, snake charmers, and storytellers keep the soul of Marrakech alive, just as in the days when nomads crossed the desert bearing their treasures.

Day 3: Marrakech ➝ Foum Zguid Start of the 4×4 expedition
Today, the true 4×4 adventure begins! After picking up our vehicles, we set off for Foum Zguid, traversing the legendary “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs” —a cinematic route that served as a backdrop for the film *Babel*. Prepare for breathtaking scenery as we cross the Tizi
n’Tichka pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters; it is one of Morocco’s most spectacular roads, winding through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. This is home to Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, towering at an impressive 4,167 meters. Our final destination for the day: the gateway to the magnificent Sahara Desert.

Day 4: Foum Zguid ➝ Erg Chegaga ➝ M’Hamid
After breakfast, we will embark on an exciting journey through one of the most fascinating regions of southern Morocco. We will travel along a road cutting across the desert toward the legendary Lac Iriki—an iconic setting from the Dakar Rally’s Moroccan editions, filled with landscapes that look like something out of an adventure movie. Along the way, we will pass through authentic Berber villages and cross dry riverbeds that reveal the power of nature in its purest form.

As we approach the vast Erg Chegaga, a true ocean of golden dunes rises on the horizon, heralding the spectacle of the Sahara. Our retreat will be a charming oasis-style hotel, where comfort, beauty, and cultural immersion come together to make this night simply unforgettable. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.)

Day 5 : M’Hamid – Merzouga (night in desert tents)
After breakfast, we will depart towards the southern Moroccan regions, near the border with Algeria. We will follow the iconic Dakar Rally trails towards the isolated Ouzina, located in the heart of the desert, next to Erg Ouzina. We will admire the vast expanse of dunes that characterises the region. Along the way, we will pass by the stunning Lak Maider, at the entrance to the Marech Gorge, known for its spectacular oasis. We will make stops at typical local homes to enjoy traditional mint tea while taking in the unique beauty of the landscape.

Upon arriving in Merzouga, we will be welcomed by the majestic Erg Chebbi, renowned for its towering dunes—the highest in Morocco. Our arrival marks the start of the desert experience, featuring accommodation in luxury tents situated in the heart of the Sahara. Prepare for unforgettable nights under a starry sky, fully immersing yourself in the unique atmosphere of the desert. For those seeking extra adventure, there is an opportunity to experience the thrill of riding a quad bike across the golden dunes during your stay. This activity is not included in the package and can be booked separately on-site, subject to availability and weather conditions. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 6 : Merzouga (night in desert tents)
After breakfast, our adventurers prepare for new challenges amidst the towering golden dunes. We follow sandy tracks toward the Merzouga region, near the Algerian border, where military outposts can be seen in the distance.

Along the way, we pass through isolated oases before reaching a true paradise for 4×4 enthusiasts —a place known for fossils dating back over 350 million years to when the region was an ocean floor, now surrounded by date palm groves. At night, we settle into luxury tents in the heart of the Sahara Desert for an unforgettable experience under the stars. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 7 : Merzouga – Boumalne Dadès 
After breakfast, we will leave behind the magical landscapes of dunes and mountains. We will travel along the paved road toward Tinerhir, a thriving small town offering a beautiful panorama of pink-hued houses and lush green palm trees, serving as the ideal starting point for exploring the famous Todra Gorges. The scenery here is breathtaking.

Later, we will continue our journey to Boumalne, located in the Valley of the Birds at an altitude of 1,612 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. In the afternoon, we will continue exploring the Dades Valley, heading toward its impressive gorges. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 8 : Boumalne Dadès – Ouarzazate – Marrakech and end of the 4×4 expedition 
After breakfast, we will begin our journey toward Ouarzazate, traversing stunning landscapes through the Dades and Rose Valleys—regions renowned for their natural beauty and traditional Berber villages.

Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, we will make a brief stop at the famous film studio complex, where major national and international productions have been shot, and learn about its strategic location and significance in cinema history. After lunch, we will continue our journey to Marrakech, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains.

Day 9 : Marrakech – Brazil
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to Marrakech Airport to begin our journey back to Home.
