Itinerary


Day 1: Reach Kullu
Reach Kullu, We will provide you arrival transfer from Kullu Airport ( Bhuntar Airport – KUU  ). In evening get to know the team and the bikes. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 | Kullu to Sarahan, 230 Kms / Altitude – 2700 Meters
Start your day after breakfast and ride to Sarahan at the top of the hill along with oldest Hindu temple, Sarahan is a beautifully located township amid mountains with Shrikhand Mahadev peak (5,155 meters) looming as a backdrop. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 3 | Sarahan to Kalpa, 90 Kms / Altitude – 2950 Meters 
Today, after breakfast, you start early to enjoy the ride along the Sutlej River and reached the Reckong Peo before the office closed to apply the ILP (inner line permit). After clearing all paperwork, enjoy the Kinnaur Kailash mountain from hotel rooftop.

Day 4 | Kalpa to Tabo, 150 Kms / Altitude – 3200 Meters
After few kilometers of riding, you enter the Spiti region, ride along the grand river and China border, and cross the Nako Lake and the best landscape of Tabo (3,200 meters). Tabo Monastery is an ordinary mud structure but on the inside, it has frescoes which earned Tabo the epithet of “Ajanta of Himalayas”.

Day 5 | Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar, Komic, Key, and Kibber (the highest village), 130 Kms / Altitude 3650 Meters
After breakfast, drive to Dhankar monastery then ride to the world’s highest habitant motorable village of Komic (4,587 meters). Then, go to the Key Monastery with rare paintings and scriptures which is the oldest and biggest in Spiti. Go further to Kibber (4,140 meters), one of the highest villages in India. Overnight in the small town of Kaza.

Day 6 |  Kaza to Sissu, 176 Kms/ Altitude – 3200 Meters
After breakfast, drive to Kunzum Pass (4,551 meters) and Chandra Taal or lake of the moon (4,270 meters). The blue-water lake is situated between a low ridge and the main Kunzum Range with an outlet into the Chandra River. After visiting the lake, take an exit on the hard route of Spiti Valley with many water crossing and waterfall view on green high mountains, cross Lahaul and Spiti border, and stay along the big waterfall at a nice guest house.

Day 7 |  Sissu to Killar (Pangi), 143 Kms / Altitude – 2524 Meters
After breakfast, drive to Killar and on the way, at Tandi fuel pump, you will refill the gas for the next two days. Today, you ride along the Chandrabhaga river cliff until you reach Killar.

Day 8 | Killar to Bairagarh via Saach Pass, 70 kilometers / Altitude – 2200 Meters
After breakfast, you drive to Saach Pass. It is a hard ride with a beautiful view. This day, the ride is short in kilometer with maximum stop because of a slow road. Today, you stop at a small village guest house.

Day  9 | Bairagarh to Khajjiar, 110 Kms / Altitude – 1950 Meters
After breakfast, drive to Mini Switzerland of India with its alpine view lakeside with green land around. You stay overnight at the alpine guest house.

Day 10 |  Khajjiar to Dharamshala, 120 Kms/ Altitude 1500 Meters
After breakfast, you drive to the city of Dalai Lama at McLeod Ganj and visit his temple and monastery.

Day 11 | Dharamshala to Manali, 180 Kms / Altitude 1900 Meters
Today is the last ride of this Himalayan trip until you reach Manali town.

Day 12 |  Manali to Kullu-Manali Airport (KUU)
You will be dropped off at the airport and this is your departure day.

For our tours we use Royal Enfield Himalayan or Classic 550 bikes only.  All bikes are checked and serviced before the start of the tour to make sure that only good bikes are used for the tour.

-Notes
Minor repairs like brake shoe, spark plug, clutch plate, tubes, cable (1 set only), and engine oil are included in the cost. However, if more breakages happen due to rough handling, accidents, theft, etc., the clients will have to bear the cost.

Can you book a hotel for me?
Yes, sure we can book hotel stay for you for your pre and post tour days.
What is your cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/ unavoidable reasons we must be informed in written. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive mail in written and cancellation charges would be as follows:
• Once the booking is confirmed – 25% of the tour/service cost.
• 15 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
• 07 days prior to arrival – 75% of the tour/service cost.
• Less than 72 hours or no show – NO REFUNDS
Can you send us the final itinerary before we book the tour?
Yes we always send the tour program before you book.
Note - as we travel in the Himalayas at time if necessary we have to make changes in the itinerary due to snow fall / road closure or any other natural calamity that is beyond our control.
How do we communicate with other team mates when where is no mobile signal en-route
We provide walki-talki sets for communication to all travelling vehicles, so there we can have uninterrupted communication.
Is basis first aid available with the team
The accompanying team carries with it basis first aid, Oxygen for emergency use
