Day 1 | Manali – Jispa (3,142 meters), 147 kilometers / 92 miles (7 to 8-hour drive)
Start your overland journey and drive to Jispa. This high altitude road beyond the great Himalayan range connects the densely fertile and green Kullu Valley to the stark barren region of Ladakh. The drive starts at Manali and is slowly winding up to mountain roads until Rohtang Pass at 3,950 meters which connects the Kullu to the Lahaul valley.
When entering the Lahaul valley, you will see a distinct change with the Hindu influence being replaced with the Buddhist religion. Continue to drive to Jispa via Keylong. Packed lunch will be given en route and overnight in tents with Dinner.
Day 2 | Jispa – Sarchu (4,253 meters), 75 kilometers / 47 miles (6-hour drive)
Drive leisurely over the scenic Bara-lacha la pass (4,880 meters). Have plenty of stops to capture the scenic grandeur of this majestic landscape dotted with snow-capped peaks and high altitude lakes. After crossing the pass, drop down to the vast Sarchu plains. Have dinner and overnight in tents with American Plan basis.
Day 3 | Sarchu – Tsokar – Leh, 230 kilometers / 143 miles
You will leave the vast Sarchu plateau, to head up in a curvy drive until you reach Namika La (4,950 meters / 16,240 feet), where you can experience the spectacular views of rugged rocks and its unique geological formation. Then, you go over Lachu Lang La (5,090 meters / 16,699 feet) before descending to the gorge of the cliffy Gangaajal to Pang. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.
Day 4 | Local site sightseeing (Shey, Thiksey, Hemis, etc.)
After breakfast, drive up to the scenic Indus Valley. En route, stop over to visit the famous Shey, Thiksey, and Hemis monasteries. Have a packed lunch en route. Overnight with Continental Plan basis.
Day 5 | Leh – Pangong Tso, 190 kilometers / 119 miles
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Tso (14,500 feet) through Chang La pass (17,350 feet). It is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive in Pangong Tso which is the highest saltwater lake in the world shared by two countries, India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. Overnight in a camp.
Day 6 | Pangong Tso – Nubra via Wari La pass or Shyok Village route, 290 kilometers / 181 miles
After breakfast, you will ride to Nubra and cross some new routes which few riders or people have covered. On the way, you get an excellent view of great Karakoram range. Lunch en route and overnight at Nubra Valley in green farm camps.
Day 7 | Nubra – Khardung La pass – Leh (18,300 feet), 100 kilometers / 63 miles
Drive to Khardung La pass, the highest motorable pass in the world (18,300 feet) which part of the road goes over the glacier on top.
Day 8 | Leh – Sarchu,or Fly back Delhi / Home 255 kilometers / 159 miles
After breakfast, you will check out of the guest house and proceed towards Sarchu, en route stopping at Taglang La pass, the second highest motorable pass in the world at 5,350 meters. Overnight stopover at Sarchu (4,253 meters), bordering the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul), and Jammu and Kashmir (Ladakh). Upon arrival in Sarchu, you check in at the tented campsite for the overnight stay.

Besides that, on this day, you can choose to fly back to Delhi / Mumbai, drop bike for transportation with GATI.
Day 9: Sarchu – Manali, 230 kilometers / 143 miles
After breakfast, you will ride from Sarchu to Manali over Bara-lacha la pass (4,800 meters) and cross Darcha, Jispa, Gemur, and Keylong. From Sissu to Manali, cross the Rohtang Pass (4,050 meters) and descend to Marhi, Gulaba, Kothi, and finally reaching Manali. The journey ends with beautiful memories.
Day 10: Manali – Kullu-Manali Airport (KUU)
You will be dropped off at the airport and this is your departure day.
