Overview

Welcome to the land of The Blue Sky

A trip to Mongolia is definitely the road less travelled. Not perhaps the hottest destination choice or on top of many travel bucket lists, it is a country of incredible natural beauty that still preserves the traditional nomadic way of life.

Rugged Mongolia is an adventure destination where travelers can experience vast, untouched landscapes and learn about nomadic culture. Mongolia is surrounded by land on all sides – to the east, west, and south it is bordered by China; while to the north it is bordered by Russia. The chief language spoken here is Mongolian, and the capital and largest city of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar is where 45 percent of the country’s population lives.

In Mongolia some areas are so remote you could drive a full day and see almost no signs of human habitation. It’s this true wilderness experience that many people find so appealing, and city residents from Ulaanbaatar frequently hit the road to camp.
